As the month comes to a close, I am stepping out from the shade of the Grandmother Tree and moving into the light. This past month has provided deep nourishment and insight for my soul, and now I am stepping into a time of sharing, expressing, and expanding.
This movement isn't about rushing... it's about being. It’s about knowing who I am and what I have to share with others. The confidence I feel moving forward comes directly from the deep rest of simply being with myself. The reflections and insights from pulling back and sitting in observation have helped me define exactly what I want to express moving forward.
This pause is key to our growth. We live in a society that constantly demands we keep going and keep pushing. More and more of us are finally saying, "No. We need to slow down. We need to know ourselves and understand where we are going before we rush forward."
This is why my transition from the sweet comfort of the Grandmother Tree out into the garden of life is one I am taking with deliberate care.
In my mind's eye, I see myself on a grassy hilltop under the shade of that ancient tree. I slowly rise, stretch, and take a deep, grounding breath. Then, I stroll down the hillside into a vibrant meadow. The meadow is singing with life—with bird song, and the gentle hush of the wind across the tall grass.
In the distance, I see a garden gate.
I move forward with a renewed sense of curiosity, wanting to explore what lies on the other side. It is this exact curiosity that I invite you to consider today.
What garden gate is presenting itself in your life right now? What are you being called to explore?
For me, this threshold represents a movement to continue sharing what my heart and soul long to give to the world: my passion for the transformative power of creativity. As I walk through this gate, I see sunshine just pouring into the garden. What is waiting there to be explored? Well, that is what’s to come.
For today, consider what curiosity is bubbling up in your own life. When we allow ourselves the freedom to explore new opportunities and adventures, we let the light back into our minds. The neurons of our brains begin to fire in new ways. This is the beauty of neuroplasticity—the tangible science we need to shift our perspectives, ignite our creativity, and inspire us to build paths that truly align with who we are.
If you feel like sharing, send me a message. I love hearing from you.
Tell me: what is the garden that is sitting in front of you to explore?
